Branch of the Regional Museum SCK at 19 Jadernych Street. Once a house and photography workshop of the Jaderny family, built in the years 1904-1906. It often served as a meeting place of the artistic environment of the years 1918-1939; it was also a contact point of conspiracy and guerrilla activists during the Nazi occupation from 1939 to 1944. For 80 years of the functioning of the workshop, August (the father) and Wiktor (the son) made a tremendous and unique documentation of the socio-economic life of Mielec and its region. After the restoration of the building and the neighbouring building No. 21, in the atelier, a permanent exhibition of the Jadernys photographs was created, as well as a unique exhibition of photographic equipment (cameras and accessories manufactured in different countries of the world). It is one of the four most important collections of this sort in Poland. Several times a year the branch of the museum organizes art exhibitions, including monuments that derive from well-known Polish national collection centres.
