Mielec has a coat of arms, flag and an town seal. Patterns of symbols are confirmed by the Resolution of the City Council nr XVII/103/91 accepted on 11th of September 1999. All specifications are included in the Statute of Gmina Miejska Mielec.
According to the documents city symbols have the specified forms:
On a blue shield, in the lower part uncial, yellow letter M and above it directed to the left knight’s helmet coloured black. The horns on the helmet – left is straight, right is branched – are both red. Coat of arms with a grey cartouche, surrounded from 3 sides with a curving yellow ribbon with a red framing. On the lower part of the ribbon is a sign with black letters: Mielec.
Piece of rectangular cloth, divided into 3 equal parts in colours (from the top): yellow, blue, red. On the central part is a yellow M in an uncial shape.
Round with a 35 mm diameter with a depiction of coat of arms. In the lower part of the border a sign: MIASTO MIELEC. Outer line of the border has a decorative form.
According to the Resolution of the City Council a unified pattern of the coat of arms, flag and town seal of Mielec city are located in the City Hall of Mielec and is the basis for any reproduction and copy.
