Forest Park “Góra Cyranowska”

The area on which the Forest Park was established is of glacial origin and is associated with Pleistocene period, when the sand dune was formed. Today the park on Mount Cyranowska, the highest point of which is at 185 metres above sea level, is overgrown with trees. In the western part are two slides with a large square lined with soft polyurethane material, a mini amphitheatre with seats, an artificial stream, which after dark is illuminated with blue light simulating flowing water. At the southern entrance to the Park, the kids can enjoy the gabion maze, which has additionally been equipped with lighting and benches. Here, too, you can ascend Mount Cyranowska via a bike path running through the whole area of the Park. The greatest winter attraction for the youngest residents of the city is toboggan run (116 m long) that leads under a several metre long footbridge, starts in the central part of the Forest Park and runs along the northern slope.
